I want to wish all my followers a Happy Easter! I woke up this morning with the hymn "He Lives" on my mind. I sang the chorus several times while doing my morning duties in the kitchen. It felt really good to remember what Jesus did for me and for you. He may have been crucified for our sins, but I am so thankful that He didn't stay in the borrowed tomb. He arose and lives today at the right hand of the Father. I know He lives, because He lives within my heart.
I pray that you and your family had a blessed Easter weekend. I would have loved to have been with my children today, but that did not happen. I would love to have watched my awesome grandson hunt Easter eggs, but we were not with him. Thankfully, he and his Mommy will be here this week for a visit. I am looking forward to that.
I have been cleaning around the house preparing for their visit. Both beds now have clean sheets and the rooms have been dusted. I still have to vacuum and mop the floors and dust the rest of the house. That will be done tomorrow. Hubby has already cleaned the bathroom. He has plans to cut grass tomorrow, hopefully, getting ready for some yard time with Jackson and the puppies.
Speaking of the puppies, they are doing so much better. I pray it stays that way. It is so much fun to watch them play with each other. Dusty has been picking at Blaze off and on all day trying to get him to play with her. He finally did while we ate supper.
On the quilting front, I have to sew the crazy quilt pillow tops to their backs and put in the pillow forms where I can get them mailed. Hope I can finish the bed runner soon, too. I'm trying to decide what kind of quilt I want to make for the spare bedroom. It has a comforter on it now that we've had for several years. It needs to be replaced with a pretty quilt. Just what pattern do I want to do? Do I want to make the room a "country" style room with a scrappy quilt, or more romantic with flowers/roses, etc. Or, do I want to make it my American Indian decor room? I just don't know what to do.
I guess I will go for now. Take care and be creative!
Hugs!
