Quilts I've Made 2011-2013

Wrap Them in Love donation quilt
This quilt I made for my son, Joe, and his new wife, April. All I have to do is finish the binding on it, so it is still a work in progress. The above quilt is now finished!!

This is the unfinished rag quilt I made for Jackson, my grandson for Christmas. He picked out the fabric; turtles, sharks, fish, and the backing is dinosaurs on flannel.

This is the first quilt I made for Jackson. It is a Toy Story 8" block with four patches of bright colors to match the colors in the Toy Story blocks. The backing was Safari Animals which he wanted on the back. So he actually has two quilts in one.
This is the very first quilt I made. It was for my daughter for Christmas 2011. It was a little small for a lap quilt, so she uses it as a table topper. I loved the purples, aqua and green colors.

The first rag quilt I made early 2012. It was for my now daughter-in-love, April.
The next rag quilt I made. Again for my daughter, Jennifer. My grandson loved this one so much that is why he got one.

This is the quilt that was one of the main reasons I got into quilting. I started this one in fall 2011. It is presently, May 13, 2012, at the quilter's home to be quilted. All I need to add will be the binding. It is the only bed sized quilt I have made. I made it for my husband, but will go on our bed. He picked the design and the fabric. We have both loved the southwestern colors of the desert ever since we lived in Idaho right after we were married. We have never been able to find just what we wanted to go on our bed until I found this pattern in a quilt book by Fons & Porter. It was designed by Liz Porter for her son as a twin quilt for his bed. I think it will be gorgeous on our bed. I hope I did her proud.
